The senior school kids thoroughly enjoyed our excursion to Healesville Sanctuary on Wednesday, 27th of February. Learning about our Victorian locals, seeing the awesome exhibits, interacting with the creatures and enjoying a beautiful day out with classmates were some highlights of our outing. Their words and photos sum up the fun and learning.

”I liked learning about how the female platypus don’t have spurs on their legs and do have bubbles not balloons at parties [to reduce plastic pollution].” –Jack

Healesville Sanctuary was great because we got to see the animals, birds and reptiles up close.” –Jessie

My favourite part was sitting next to my friends and watching the birds of prey fly close to us.” –Shae
