This year on Tuesday October 11th, we made our Footy Day (The Big Bounce) a little more interesting by having our students combine various ball skill activities, maths activities, walking/running around their designated lap area. Some activities were simply how many times can you bounce or catch a ball in 60 seconds. A big thank you goes out to Mr Dewhurst for his creative rethink of our Footy Fundraising Day!
Asking for sponsorship is a way of spreading the support for our school across & outside the local community – with today’s ease of communication you can gain pledges of support from nanna’s, aunties, uncles and friends wherever they are in the world!
A great day was had by all.
- Students dressed up in their footy gear for the day
- Parents, friends & sponsors took part in the parade & joined in on the activities with their child
- We organized a picnic morning tea on the school grounds after the walkathon
- Many enjoyed a sausage sizzle for lunch
Thank you to all who helped with our school community fundraising efforts by sponsoring students & helping out on the day. Footy Day is one of our most important fundraising events of the year & all funds raised go right back into supporting our school community & students. Your generous support makes a difference by helping to give rise to great things happening at SRPS.
