About Somerville Rise Primary School

Somerville Rise Primary School

Somerville Rise Primary School situated a 10 minute drive from Frankston on the Mornington Peninsula, was first established in 1995 to meet the demands of an increasing population in what was formerly an orchard area. When the land was subdivided and housing established there was a need for a new primary school. The school commenced operation at the start of 1995 and was officially opened in August of that year. It soon grew to a school of over 600 students. Today the student population is approx 250 with an even spread of students across each grade level. Situated on the corner of Blacks Camp Rd and Graf Rd the school has plenty of open space for children to play as well as 3 adventure playgrounds and 4 hard-court areas.
